Melting glass is a very ancient glass processing technique. Today, glass fusion is still an evolving technique and it lies in the imagination of its operators, who with their experience are able to develop new products.

Tempering is a method capable of reinforcing glass. It is obtained through a thermal induction and gives higher resistance characteristics. In particular to bending making the glass safe and not dangerous for people, in fact a hardened glass sheet when broken is reduced to minute non-sharp fragments.

Ultraviolet bonding has found great application in the glass industry as it allows invisible gluing, but with high mechanical strength. A special glue is placed between two surfaces and thanks to ultraviolet lamps they get welded.

Beveling on glass is a technique aimed at smoothing the edges of glass, mirrors and crystals. It consists of a particular type of grinding where the processing of the edges of a slab is performed with any angle less than 90 °. Beveling is a very delicate process used for elements and mirrors of great value.

After the glass is cut it has a particularly sharp and irregular edge, which is eliminated through a grinding operation (performed manually or by CNC machinery) which removes and evens the edge of the glass in different ways, depending on the request. Round shiny edge: the edge is rounded and shiny, the processing level is high. Flat shiny edge: the edge is shiny and perpendicular to the surface. Raw edge: it’s like the shiny edge but opaque.
